Personal project · ongoing
- Client
- An ongoing personal project: a bot that runs my learning in public — one focus a day, an evening check-in, and a weekly scorecard I post on LinkedIn.
- Recruiter
- Self-hosted Discord bot in TypeScript on AWS Lambda and DynamoDB, running at $0 a month on the free tier. Every AWS and DevOps skill I pick up gets applied to it first.
- Engineer
- It started on Telegram; when that API turned out to be blocked where I live, the transport moved to Discord without the domain or database layers changing a line.
What it does
- Each morning names the day's one focus; each evening asks whether it happened
- Notices two missed days in a row and says so
- Turns the logs into a weekly scorecard with streaks, and drafts the daily “what I learned” post
Under the hood
- The rule: every AWS and DevOps skill gets applied to Jarvis first — Terraform, least-privilege IAM, OIDC deploys, alarms that report through Jarvis itself
- Tests cover date maths, scoring, streaks and Discord signature verification
